Project
Our sisters at Word of Hope Church in Thika Kenya
have completed their training and are now able to produce such
products as baskets, banana/sisal pen holders, banana fibre jewl
holders and buttoned hair clips. The group has already
received an order for 100 hair clips and 20 pen holders and banana
fibre tissue holders. They are well on their way to becoming
independently self supporting.
They have also begun a mushroom growing
project. Mushrooms are a great source of phosphorus,
magnesium, potassim and selenim. In addition, they contain
virtually no fat or cholsterol. Naturally low in sodium,
mushrooms are also a good source of fiber. The group is also
in the process of gowing muringa trees whose leaves are used for
vegeables. The leaves are also hepful in boosting the immune
system.

WE Are you safe? Have you
given your heart to Jesus? Do you know for certain that you
will go to heaven when you leave this earth? If not, now is the
time, today is the day for salvation. Roman 10:9-10 says, "That if
thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved. For
with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation."
Turn your heart to the Lord
and speak in faith...."God I confess that I am a
sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ, your Son, died
on the cross to save me from sin, arose from the dead and is
now at your side in Heaven. Jesus, I ask you to come into my
heart and cause me to be born again so that I can become a citizen
of the heavenly kingdom. Help me to begin living a life that is good
in your sight and in tune with your Word. Thank you for saving me.
Amen."
